Abstract
There is a concrete paradox between the fundamental law, or profound assumption, of the survival of the fittest and the newly realized fact that all DNA does not code for proteins — it is “selfish” (Dawkins 1976) or to put it bluntly, as Orgel and Crick (1980) have done, is “junk”.
