Abstract
The present study, carried out in May 1982, deals with the results of horizontal glottectomies performed at the E.N.T. Clinic of the University of Ferrara from February 1973 to December 1978. The dead line of December 1978 was established in order to have a minimum follow-up of 3 years for all patients. A total of 22 horizontal glottectomies were performed during that period. All patients were males, and their ages ranged from 43 to 70.
