Abstract

Radio broadcasting exists in a state of constant change. The continuing development of technology has far-reaching effects on programme operations. With the help of satellites, listeners can receive live transmissions from all parts of the world. In local radio, the live situation is broadened by means of cable radio. The catch-phrase “News is Now” can today be applied to the spoken word and the visual side, in the context of events both locally and worldwide.
