Relative Activities of Cytokinins and Antagonists in Releasing Lateral Buds of Pisum from Apical Dominance Compared with Their Relative Activities in the Regulation of Growth of Tobacco Callus

Abstract
Cytokinin-antagonists which reversibly inhibit cytokinin-induced growth of callus in the tobacco bioassay at the same time, in conjunction with high cytokinin concentrations, may bring about or enhance bud formation in the callus tissue (Skoog et al., 1975).
