Abstract

Extent and course of an acute brain lesion with increased intracranial pressure can be recognized first of all by the degree of the neurological disturbances (20, 22). Within the frame work of intensive medical care of severe brain lesions, there is an urgent need for further parameters to evaluate early prognosis of the patients.
