Korrektur von Fußdeformitäten

Zusammenfassung
Der komplizierte anatomische Aufbau des Fußes und seine komplexe Funktion brachten es mit sich, daß lange Zeit die Anwendung eines externen Fixationssystems zur Korrektur von Deformitäten unmöglich schien. Erst der Entwicklung des Ring-fixateurs und der Anwendung dieses Systems zur Überbrückung von Gelenken und zur Behandlung von Weichteilkontrakturen ist es zu verdanken, daß heute selbst komplexe Deformitäten und Fehlstellungen extern korrigiert werden können.
