Environmental PGE contamination in Southwest Germany

Abstract

In recent years investigations on the emission and fate of Platinum Group Elements (PGE) from catalytic converters have revealed a considerable contamination of the environment (Cubelic et al. 1997; Schäfer 1998; Zereini and Alt 1998).
