Abstract
One dilemma regarding therapy for localized prostate cancer is the lack of randomized clinical trials to prove the superiority of treatment with curative intent over watchful waiting. Even if several studies are under way, their results will not be available within the next 10 –15 years [29, 36, 47, 48].
