Zusammenfassung

Postoperative Verwirrtheitszustände zeigen eine vielfältige Symptomatik (leichtere Einschränkungen geistiger Funktionen bis Vollbild des Deliriums) und erhöhen sowohl Morbidität als auch Mortalität. Die Ursachen sind multifaktoriell.
