Abstract

The housing bubble’s boom and bust made a significant contribution to the financial crisis, prompting a chain reaction that spread throughout the world. These events raised the eyebrows of investors worldwide. In this chapter, the author investigates the impact of the financial crisis on the UK’s macroeconomy and housing market.
