A fascinating paper, which is, in our opinion, of fundamental importance for the general theory of multiple testing. It is, however, not particularily easy to read and understand. The following comments have the purpose to make this important paper more accessible to a broader public and to point out some open research problems. The difficulties appear to come from three different sources.
