Quantitative Determination of DNA and Protein in Single Cells

Abstract

Uneven staining of slides and poor reproducibility can make quantitative work difficult or even impossible. These conditions often occur with protein stainings in smears, especially in the case of the histone reactions using fast green or sulfaflavine. Below is a brief discussion of experiments on human leukocytes stained with sulfaflavine at pH 8.0.
