Analytical study of resonance caused by solar radiation pressure

Abstract

A qualitative analytical treatment of the solar radiation effect on artificial satellite motion is presented. It is shown that a development in powers of the time for polar orbits in the resonance region confirms the results obtained by numerical integration.
