Zusammenfassung

Die Beratung einer Patientin oder eines Ehepaares vor einer Schwangerschaft ist ein seltenes Ereignis. Im allgemeinen wird eine Schwangerschaft aus einer positiven, heiter-sorglosen Einstellung heraus begonnen, was nicht nur normal, sondern auch erfreulich ist. Und auf den ersten Blick scheint es, als sei eine prägravide Beratung eine selten indizierte Ausnahme. Indikationen werden häufig nur gesehen, wenn ernste Erkrankungen der Mutter oder Mißbildungen in der Familie dies ratsam erscheinen lassen.
