Der Verga’sche Ventrikel
Zusammenfassung
Die Beschreibung des Balkens (und des Septums) kann nicht von jener des sechsten Ventrikels (Ventriculus Vergae, Ventr. triangularis, Tricorne medium, Fornixventrikel), der ein manchmal zu einer wirklichen Höhle erweiterter, zwischen der Unterfläche des Balkens und ober dem Psalterium gelegener medialer Spaltraum ist, getrennt werden. DerVerga’sche Ventrikel sollte genauer als Silvio’scher Ventrikel bezeichnet werden. Im II. Teile der Werke des Silvio de la Boe (im Jahre 1671 in Paris gedruckt) steht in der Tat: „Corpus callosum, „ubi in septum pellucidum incipit attenuari, hiatum habere, ipsum etiam septum „quamvis tenuissimum, in partes duas nonunquam dirimentem, cum admira „tione … observavimus, et spectatoribus nostris demonstravimus jam aliquoties.“
