Abstract

Political theory is regularly analysing some basic questions in assessing possible political systems, for example: How should the international system be structured? Do states need to be nation-states? To what extent, and in which form, are supra-state institutions necessary to supplement a system of states? Depending on the structure, the question of the political power allocation becomes relevant.
