Abstract
Endoscopic laser surgery has had a great development in recent years. In order to standardise the nomenclature of the various operations and thus be able to compare the results of the various case histories, the European Laryngological Society has drawn up a code classifying endoscopic cordectomies of various types, according to the depth and extension of exeresis [1–4]. The operation we are going to discuss in this paragraph is the type most frequently performed.
