Zusammenfassung

Migräne und andere chronische Kopfschmerzen sind Ursache für die häufigsten Schmerzprobleme des Menschen. Es wurden umfangreiche Studien zur Belastung der Lebensqualität, zum Verlust der Arbeitsfähigkeit, zum Auftreten von Komorbiditäten und zu sozioökonomischen Auswirkungen von Kopfschmerzen durchgeführt (Göbel et al. 1994; WHO 2011).
