This chapter provides the crystal structure and lattice parameters of Ru-Zr (ruthenium-zirconium) system.

Metastable Phase

Taluts et al. [99Tal] detected the formation of a metastable ω – phase by quenching and heat treatment (aging at 773 K) of alloys with 1.5–4.0 atom-% Ru. The structure is hexagonal with lattice parameters:

a = 0.5041 nm and c = 0.3127 nm.
