Enthalpy of formation of Pt-Tb (platinum-terbium) system

Abstract

This chapter provides the enthalpy of formation of Pt-Tb (platinum-terbium) system.

Thermodynamics

Using high-temperature calorimetry Guo et al. [95Guo] have experimentally determined the enthalpy of reaction and the average heat content at 1474 K ± 2 K. The results have been used to calculate the standard enthalpies of intermediate compounds. The values are shown in Table 1.
