Abstract
Pectenosis (Synonym: chronic anal myofibrosis) is an uncommon chronic inflammatory condition in which fibrosis in the distal portion of the internal anal sphincter leads to a ring-shaped stenosis of the anal canal between the dentate and anocutaneous lines (Fig.1 p.4).
