Abstract
Different approaches have been made on reducing the risk of acute or subacute reocclusion of stented coronary vessels. To date, no definite solution of these complications has been established. Therefore, we compared the efficaciousness of different dosages of ticlopidine (Tiklyd, Sanofi Winthrop, FRG) and acetylsalicylic acid (ASA, Aspirin, Bayer, Germany), focusing on platelet inhibition by aggregometry and in an in vitro circulating model containing coronary stents.
