Web-Based IP Reuse CAD System, Flowrian
Abstract
IP reuse design in ready-to-use platform becomes very popular design methodology for SoC development. IP sharing (knowledge sharing) is very important to maximize design efficiency. So IP sharing and reuse environment has been requested for a long time. This paper demonstrates web-based CAD system, called Flowrian, originally developed for IP sharing and reuse design. The high speed internet infrastructure in South Korea is best in the world enough to introduce internet-based application even in specialized high tech area, such as IP-based SOC design. Flowrian consists of client personal computer and remote server computer which communicate each other through internet. The user on the side of client is able to design and verify SOC by sharing the IPs and tools installed on the side of remote server. Flowrian must be very feasible solution to validate the correctness of ready-to-use IPs installed in the IP DB center, such as Hoseo Engineering SaaS Center.
