The Bulgarian implementation of the WEEE Directive (Decree N 82 and Council of Minister’s Decree No.137/1999, which was amended accordingly in 2006 to include the product fees for EEE) came into force on 1 July 2006 but was postponed until 1 September 2006 due to lack of preparation. The Bulgarian implementation of the RoHS Directive came into force on 1 January 2007 and became part of the Decree N 82.
