Endocrine Hypertension, Pheochromocytoma

Synopsis

  • Specific skin lesions were described in singular reports, e. g., multiple cutaneous metastases in malignant pheochromocytoma. An association with dermatomyositis, with Behcet syndrome, Sweet’s syndrome, and erythema nodosum was reported.

  • Pheochromocytoma is a frequent tumor in neurofibromatosis (NF) type 1 (see Sect. 14.4), described in 0.1–5.7% of the patients.
