Part of the Notes on Numerical Fluid Mechanics and Multidisciplinary Design book series (NNFM, volume 87)

Summary

A concise derivation of the laminar small disturbance Navier-Stokes equations is presented and their numerical implementation described. The method’s validity is shown for a harmonically pitching NACA 0012 airfoil in subsonic flow as an initial test case.
