A Resource Selection Scheme for Grid Computing System META
Conference paper
Abstract
Our grid system META allows CFD users to access computing resources across the network. There are many research issues involved in the grid computing, including fault-tolerance, selection of the computing resource, design of user-interface. In this paper, we propose a resource selection scheme based on the kernel loop of the source code. Also, we developed META for executing the parallel SPMD application written in MPI. Also, META chooses the resources with the kernel loop model and provides the user with a real-time visualization.
