Zusammenfassung
Innerhalb der interdiziplinär geführten wissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung über die „Krise des Sozialstaates“ hat sich ein, insbesondere von E. Matzner vertretener Argumentationsstrang Gehör verschafft, der darauf abhebt, daß es sich bei der Problematik des Sozialstaates weniger um eine Krise der Ziele, sondern eher um eine Krise der Methoden handelt (Matzner 1982).
