Disc Disease and Discogenic Pain

Due to the high functionality of the intervertebral discs, they are prone to degeneration with time and stress, and this degenerative process can result in chronic pain. Back pain is the second leading cause of disability among American adults and is currently treated either with conservative therapy or interventional pain procedures.
