Study on Detection Algorithm of Live Animal in Self-bag-Drop Kiosk in Airport Using UWB Radar
The study is conducted detection by UWB (Ultra-Wide Band) to prevent against safety accidents which could be occurred in Self Bag Drop installed and unmanned operated in airport by the unexpected intrusions such as alive animals, humans especially. To conduct the study, we applied algorithm with the detected signal of an object movement and respiratory cycle during standstill by filtering/signal processing S/W. For the proper study, we installed and operated UWB radar in the mock-up frame of Self Bag Drop. We study the operation of the system by the detected alive object’s status in the Self Bag Drop and analyse its doppler pulse.
