Abstract
MoS2 Nanosheets were synthesized by facile hydrothermal method. RAMAN spectroscopy was used to characterize the synthesized sample. Further optical sensor was fabricated on silicon substrate by depositing the hydrothermally synthesized MoS2 by drop casting technique. The response of the sensor was found to be highly sensitive to the lasers used in the experiment. The sensitivity of the fabricated optical sensor was found to be more than 18 µA/W.
