Abstract

The umbilical cord is rarely affected by neoplastic growths. Cord haemangiomas are benign vascular lesions that may be extensively myxoid, in which case they are referred to as angiomyxomas. Cord teratomas are extremely rare cord tumours similar to teratomas arising in other sites.
