Abstract

This Chapter provides the idea of education and ICT training practices in Russia for older persons, including research methodology; first interaction with ICT experience, first user practices, and first fears and mistakes connected with mastering virtual space; computer literacy courses, goals and motivation for continued learning; older people’s daily interaction with the computer: user practices, difficulties, and reasons for avoiding several actions; elderly interaction and ICT through computer class teachers’ eyes.
