Never Lose the Initial Aspiration (不忘初心): Shan’s Narratives

This chapter begins with illustrating Shan’s cross-cultural experience in Canada. Following his first year of teaching and working with conflicting philosophies, Shan endeavored to make changes in the classroom in his second year of teaching, and returned to the original aspiration in his third and fourth years of teaching. Finally, this chapter depicts Shan’s ongoing story and his connection with the Reciprocal Learning Program.
