Hypermobility in Adolescence and Young Adulthood
The assessment and management of problematic hypermobility require a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to capture an evolving picture as the young person grows through adolescence to young adulthood. Rehabilitation encompasses physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, psychology and for some surgical intervention in order to set the AYA on a course of self-management.
