Abstract

One of the most remarkable pieces of literature known to humankind is the Book of Job, written in the period between the seventh and fourth century BCE. The French novelist Victor Hugo once said that if all the world’s literary works were to be destroyed, and he could save but one, it would be The Book of Job. Not only is Job’s tale a narrative on how to deal with adversity, it’s also is a moral tale of courage, and of leadership as a force for good.
