Surgical and Endovascular Treatment of Extracranial Carotid Stenosis

Currently, the main priority in prophylaxis of cerebral ischemia is considered prevention of atherostenosis and embologenity of magistral arteries, removal of cardiac genesis cerebral embolies, and normalizing of hemodynamics and blood rheological parameters.
