Abstract

Management of airway complications is an increasingly important field in lung transplantation. While the incidence may be variable, the subsequent sequelae and potential problems which may occur downstream can have significant effects on an individual’s long-term prognosis. This chapter explores airway stenosis in lung transplant recipients, elaborating on clinical presentation, assessment and evaluation of disease, and interventional bronchoscopic methods available which are presently used in clinical practice.
