Abstract

While emergency physicians must be able to evaluate a wide variety of ophthalmologic conditions, a significant number of medications are available for treatment. An array of medications and treatment options for ophthalmologic conditions can result in discomfort with ophthalmologic medications. This chapter examines the different classes of emergent ophthalmological medications, including dosing and indications.
