Abstract

Vulval disorders represent a wide range of conditions including inflammatory dermatoses, infection, pain-syndromes, premalignant, and malignant disorders. National guidelines have been published for the management of these conditions and clinicians should have access to a specialist multidisciplinary vulval service. Vulval skin disorders can predispose to vulval cancer which should be managed in specialist centres. This chapter deals with litigation related to vulval disorders including neoplasia.
