Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease

Legg-Calve-Perthes is a hip disorder affecting young children. The effects of unrecognized, or untreated Perthes can be destructive to the young hip. Older children affected with Perthes may benefit from surgical intervention.

When does fragmentation typically occur?
