Abstract

We are endlessly reminded that the millennial generation (exact date-range contested, but for the purpose of this chapter, we use the definition of being born between 1982 and 2000) are changing everything about how organizations work as a consequence of their growing up at the same time as the nascent Internet. The first of these are now in middle management positions and, in some cases higher, especially in businesses that are digitally driven (Fig. 12.1).
