Abstract
Reducing anode oxidation is one of the most important function of the cover material in the aluminium electrolysis cell. The effect of cover material on anode oxidation speed was studied. The result showed that anode oxidation speed was greatly reduced if anode was covered. Anode oxidation speed is reduced with increase of thickness of the cover material.
