Abstract

Subcutaneous rupture of the Achilles tendon is an extremely frequent injury. Injury areas determine the indications. The goals of the surgery and the surgical technique for the three main categories of surgery, open, percutaneous and minimally invasive, are the main topics that need a careful consideration.
