Abstract

A Bennett fracture is a fracture-dislocation of the thumb CMC joint. However, different types of fracture patterns can be described. The articular portion of the fracture must be fully reduced. Without stabilization, the metacarpal will tend to further displace. In this chapter reduction and stabilisation techniques of these injuries are discussed.
