Supratentorial Vascular Anatomy

Abstract
Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) is a technique that allows imaging of cerebral vasculature and represents the gold standard for high-resolution vascular imaging. It allows visualization of small diameter vascular structures and the evaluation of vascular dynamics by imaging the arterial, capillary, and venous phases. We have labelled the most frequent angiographic images and label major arteries and veins of diagnostic interest.Normal anatomy of arteries and veins, their vascular territories and major occlusion syndromes have been described.
