Distributed Filtering with Stochastic Sampling

Abstract

Some energy-efficient signal sampling and transmission protocols have been discussed in Chap.  7, and the corresponding distributed filter design algorithm is presented. But the scheduling is deterministic. In this chapter, a stochastic sampling scheme is applied to the distributed filtering system.
