Regionalism and Regionalisation: A Theoretical Approach

Abstract

This chapter discusses different approaches to regionalism and regionalisation in the theory of social sciences. It refers regional processes to microregionalism, interregionalism, multilateralism, globalism and globalisation. The chapter compares old and new regionalism, describes different types of regionalism and presents selected methods of analysis of regional processes.
