The FHIR RESTful API
The FHIR RESTful API provides a consistent set of HTTP services for understanding the system capabilities, finding (search) and managing resources (read, create, update, delete), and subscribing to content using a set of predictable URLs. FHIR also defines a framework for actions (execute) on the server, and a way to prevent version conflicts on the server.
