Study of the Queuing Systems \(M|GI|N|\infty \)

Abstract

In this paper, we study the queuing system with unlimited queue and with N servers. We obtain the approximation of probability distribution of the number of customers in the system. We obtain the formula of the probability of immediate service and the characteristic function of a positive waiting time. The optimal number of servers can be determined by the obtained characteristics.
